This Email & Newsletter Policy explains how Ravody sends email communications and describes our compliance with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and applicable international marketing regulations.
1. Opt-In Consent
We send marketing and newsletter emails only to individuals who have affirmatively subscribed — for example, by submitting their email address through a newsletter sign-up form on the Site. We do not add addresses to our marketing list from purchased, rented, or harvested lists.
2. What We Send
Depending on your subscription preferences, we may send:
- Digest emails summarizing recent VPN, gaming, AI, or software news and reviews
- Alerts about newly published reviews or major industry developments
- Occasional promotional emails related to deals or offers from affiliate partners, clearly identified as such
- Administrative emails related to your subscription or account (e.g., confirmation, preference changes)
3. CAN-SPAM Compliance Commitments
In compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, we commit to:
- Not using false or misleading header information
- Not using deceptive subject lines
- Identifying commercial messages as advertisements where required
- Including our valid physical mailing address or a link to obtain it, in every commercial email
- Monitoring compliance of any third party sending email on our behalf
- Honoring opt-out/unsubscribe requests promptly and not selling or transferring email addresses of individuals who have opted out
- Processing unsubscribe requests within 10 business days, as required by law
4. How to Unsubscribe
Every marketing email we send includes a clear and conspicuous “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the message. You can also unsubscribe or manage your preferences by emailing admin@ravody.com with the subject line “Unsubscribe.”
5. Transactional and Administrative Emails
Certain non-marketing emails (e.g., confirming your subscription, responding to a support request) are considered transactional or administrative and may continue even if you unsubscribe from marketing communications, to the extent necessary to service your account or request.
6. Third-Party Email Service Providers
We may use third-party email service providers to deliver our newsletters and manage subscriber lists. These providers are contractually required to handle subscriber data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
7. Frequency
We aim to send newsletter content at a reasonable frequency based on your selected preferences and will not intentionally overwhelm your inbox. You may adjust frequency preferences where such options are made available.
8. International Recipients
For subscribers in the European Economic Area and UK, our newsletter sign-up relies on your affirmative opt-in consent as required under the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive/PECR. You may withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Email & Newsletter Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page.
